Hey, July

Waking up on July 1st and thinking "what day of June is it?", but only realizing June has passed, and you're brought into a new amazing month of the summer.

As a lot of people know, Canada Day falls on July 1st. Usually, in the states, we don't really celebrate it. However, I was invited to a last minute barbecue yesterday. I walked in the house and my friend asked "where's your camera? we're doing fireworks tonight!" They won't be celebrating the fourth at that house so they were lighting off all the fireworks. I raced home on a bike to get it then raced back all before sunset.

I've never taken pictures of fireworks or sparklers in the 11 exact months I've spent with my camera, but I'm glad I got to do that last night.

Oh, hi.

My name is Alexa, it's of the greek origin and means "defender of nature". A little about myself:
I'm fifteen years old
My birthday is August 1st
I live in California by the beach, which is about as much info as I can give on that subject, but it's a nice home.
I live for music, it's a part of me no matter what.
Photography is a great passion of mine, however, singing is the road I want to take.
I also wear glasses, and I'll consider getting contacts once my glasses tan is gone haha.
You've started reading this in the summer time of my life.
